This beautiful house tucked away in a tranquil community in Jacksonville has as its central hub its Great Room. With an open floor plan, soaring ceilings and a magnificent view of the golf course this room holds an important role in the layout of the house. With a busy career and three small children to tend to, this lovely family asked us to bring the greatness back into their Great Room. We were thrilled to help because every great room requires a great room design! Having such an ample room we created two distinct conversation areas. One was with a “grand” sectional that could sit a large party of friends and family complete with a tufted leather coffee table that doubled up as stylish yet practical for propping up tired feet while watching TV. A second great room nook tucked to the side of the main great room enjoys the upfront and personal view of the golf course and also allows for a more intimate type of gathering or a quiet contemplation space to enjoy the view or read a book. To top off the wow factor a chandelier equipped with a lift that gives the family easy access to clean and change light bulbs (yes we think about all the details!) completes the overall Greatness that the room was needing.
